BONNIE MAY OLESON SPENCE

October 15, 1945 – July 29, 2022

Bonnie Spence had a zest for life and loyalty to everyone who shared her passion for family, friends, dogs and horses. Bonnie passed away on July 29, 2022 after a grueling battle with a horrible disease of the mind -Alzheimers.

Bonnie is from Lincoln, Nebraska and lived in Bakersfield most of her adult life. She was the primary provider for her son Brian before she married Glenn. She used her work ethic to promote from clerical to office manager at Ed Fant Buick, Valley Oldsmobile, Stier's Leisure RV sales and ultimately ran the family business-GWS Automotive Equipment. (Even Glenn would tell you that she was the brains of the outfit)

Bonnie is survived by her husband Glenn: her son Brian Oleson (wife-Teresa), step son's Jeff (Michelle) and David (Kathy). Her grand-kids are Larissa, Isabelle, Grace, Nicholas, Madison, Katelyn and Kelsey. Her treasured animals were all loved equally. Dogs: Rusty, Snappy, Grizzily, Ringy, Beaster, Mariah, Bandito, Sophie, Chiweenie and Katie. Her horses were Mr. Matt, Little Man, Amigo, Spirit, Ebony, Molly, and Smoky.
