PRESCILIANA PADRON CASTILLO

January 4, 1933 – October 27, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Presciliana Padron Castillo. She was born January 4, 1933 and went home on October 27, 2021 at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Manuel Castillo, her parents Valente Padron and Gregoria Padron de Ybarra. Siblings Diego, Tomas, Luis, Macaria and Francisca. Two son Federico and Martin Castillo, granddaughter, Lolita Hines.

She is survived by daughters Sarita (Adrian) Monclova, Magdalena Hines (Gabino Rodriguez), sons Fortunato (Maria-Monserat) and Jose Castillo. Her 13 grandchildren: Richard, Michael (Michelle) Monclova, Cynthia (Gabriel) Enriquez, Susanne Castillo, Presilla Hines (Andy Lomas), Amanda Aros, Joaquin (Naomi), Javier (Marina), Jaime (Sabrina) Castillo, Veronica Lowe, Israel (Heather) Castillo, Isaac Rivas, 27 great grandchildren: Sofia, Serena, Adrian, Andrew, Leticia, Luke, Michael Jr. Monclova, Lawrence Aguilar, Cathryn, Caitlyn, Camille Enriquez, Sisily, Kazandra, Jair Villegas, Anthony, Madison Valadez, Anyalisa, Leonore Carino, Kamila Velasquez, Audrina, Jaden, Jacob, Josiah, Julius Castillo, Danielle, Jacob Lowe-Corona, Luca Lowe-Mejia, Gabrielle, Kaitlynn Castillo, Brooke Joseph. Two great great-grandchildren: Andre Monclova, Ava Avalos.

Presciliana was a kind, loving person. Her devotion to family and faith was the focus of her life. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends more then anything. She loved tending her flower garden and making things grow. She had an amazing green thumb. We will miss her kind heart along with her awesome cooking, especially her delicious tamales. Her memory will live forever in our hearts.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 2, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 3, at 10:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Kern Canyon Rd.
