JOQUITTA (JO) MARVINE JOHNSON

September 20, 1938 – June 6, 2021

Jo, 82, of Oildale, California passed away on June 6, 2021. Jo was born to Marvin and Pearl Foster on September 20, 1938. Jo was born in Orange County, California. She grew up in Westchester. Jos siblings are Geraldine, Jimmie Lee, Donnie and June. Jo has numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo attended two years at East Bakersfield High School and two years at North High School where she was the first graduating class of 1956.

Jo married Larence "Jerry" Thomas on February 11, 1956 and divorced in 1977. They were married for 21 years. They had two daughters, Kim (Mike) and Kathy (Mike) and one son Ricky (Rita).

Jo and Jerry have 4 grandchildren; Tiffany (Daryl), Tracy, Derrick and Joshua. They have 7 great-grandchildren; Jessica, Ashley, Kiley, Shawn, ZZ, Addalynn, Kadence (Kandy) and Lexi.

Jo went on to marry the love of her life Roy Johnson. They were married on August 15, 2015. They were married for 5 wonderful years. Jo was a step-mother to Roy's children, Julie, John John and Jeffery. Roy has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jo has special neighbor babies, Ryder and RiLynn.

She was a bookkeeper/receptionist for multiple trucking companies. Her favorite hangout was Zingo's Café. Jo and Roy were involved in antique car clubs. They are parents to 5 fur babies. She sure loved her babies.
