POLICE REPORT 7 ARRESTS FROM OCT. 31 TO NOV. 6

The Tehachapi Police Department arrested six people on suspected misdemeanors and one person on suspected felonies during the week of Oct. 31 — Nov. 6.

The felony arrest was on suspicion of child abuse and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A total of 197 incidents were handled by Tehachapi Police officers, including 144 calls for service from the public and 63 officer-initiated incidents. Officers wrote a total of 33 reports.
