POLICE REPORT 11 ARRESTS FROM JULY 25 TO 31

The Tehachapi Police Department arrested six people on suspected misdemeanors and five people on suspected felonies during the week of July 25-31.

The felony arrests were on suspicion of a felony warrant; threatening a crime with intent to terrorize, possessing unlawful paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant; domestic violence; and felony vandalism, trespassing and smuggling a controlled substance into jail. The nature of the fifth arrest was not stated, often signaling it was a juvenile.

A total of 245 incidents were handled by Tehachapi Police officers, including 177 calls for service from the public and 68 officer-initiated incidents. Officers wrote a total of 22 reports.
